Best Eye Treatment Alternatives Include 100% Fresh Water Mist Application

Ophthalmologists are discovering a new eye treatment alternative that combines the best medications and therapeutic devices with the application of a 100% all-natural tissue culture grade water eye mist - Nature's Tears® EyeMist®. • Anti-inflammatories and antihistamines. Production of allergic histamines and inflammatory hormones by the eyes has been shown to increase when the tear film is dehydrated and lacks adequate water (Ono SJ, "Allergic conjunctivitis: update on pathophysiology and prospects for future treatment". J. Allergy Clin. Immunol. 115 (1): 118-22; 2005). Nature's Tears® EyeMist® increases the tear film's water content, which could result in a decrease in the production of these substances.
• Contact lenses. Lack of sufficient tear film water, called "dry eye," is a common reason for contact lens discomfort. Increasing the tear film's natural water content could alleviate this discomfort. The application of Nature's Tears® EyeMist® has been shown to improve the ability of many patients to tolerate contact lenses.
