Bio-Logic Aqua Research Pioneers Hand-Held Humidifying Mist Device for Dry Eye

Nature's Tears® EyeMist®

Bio-Logic Aqua Research pioneered the development of personal hand-held fresh water humidifying mist devices to soothe dry eye symptoms. After researching the physiology of fresh water absorption by the skin and eyes, the company's research determined that for maximum beneficial absorption by the eyes, the ideal format for eye humidification is t covert the water to a fine mist. The ideal water is an all-natural tissue culture grade water with a slightly acidic pH, exceptional purity, and a light solute content free of heavy metals and excessive salts.

The technology of "mist dosing" was also pioneered by Bio-Logic Aqua Research. Mist dosing alters the diameter, spray pattern and force of the mist's water droplets depending on the specific purpose of application. An emergency eye wash requires a more concentrated and forceful spray pattern, with larger droplets. A dry eye moisturizer requires a gentler, wider mist with much smaller droplets (5 to 150 microns in diameter) that emulates the air's natural humidity. The misting aperture used in Nature's Tears® EyeMist® is the smallest available with current manufacturing technology.

Bio-Logic Aqua Research currently manufactures three products. All utilize fresh, all-natural, slightly acidic (6.49 pH) tissue culture water applied as a mist or spray from a personal hand-held humidifying device. The products are Nature's Tears® EyeMist® to soothe dry, dehydrated eyes, Bio-Med Wash® emergency first aid skin and eye wash and Nature's Mist® Face of the Water® for dehydrated skin.

The bottling facility at Bio-Logic Aqua Research specializes in bag-on-valve technology, an aerosol system that is 100% environmentally safe and guarantees sterility even after the unit had been opened and partially used.

In addition to Nature's Tears® EyeMist® for dry eyes, Bio-Logic Aqua Research has at least 22 additional 100% all-natural fresh water products either in development or planned for development. They include mist applications for dry mouth, dermatitis, burns, surgery, surgical healing, hair, feet, body misting, pets, and more.
